What is an Academic Health Center Psychologist?
-
We work in settings with a tradition of integrated and interdisciplinary service, research and education which includes teaching hospitals, medical schools, allied health schools and/or VA medical centers.
-
We model and define psychologists’ roles in health and illness for our trainees and for other health professions.
-
We work at the interface of the educational system and the health system and can influence the direction of both.
