Michael L. Hendricks, Ph.D., ABPP

I maintain a clinical and forensic practice. In my clinical practice, I see individuals and couples, including those in the LGBT and poly-kink communities. Issues I address include mood disorders, GAD and social anxiety, trauma-based problems, sexual problems, and psychological sequelae of chronic illnesses (e.g., HIV/AIDS). A fair portion of my practice includes work with trans and gender nonconforming individuals, both those who seek and do not see transition.
In my forensic practice, I conduct clinical forensic evaluations for various psycholegal questions in criminal proceedings, including competencies (trial, Miranda), sanity, and sentencing. I also conduct capacity evaluations for questions surrounding guardianship and/or conservatorship, and serve as expert witness in a number of capacities.
