I am a licensed clinical health psychologist with over 8 years of clinical experience and founder of the Center for Mind+Body Health. I specialize in helping adults with various concerns including depression, anxiety, stress, sleep problems, pain, interpersonal conflict, and those who have difficulty coping and adjusting to a chronic illness, such as cancer.  I use evidence-based cognitive and behavioral techniques to improve my clients’ mood and well-being.  As a clinical health psychologist, my goal is to help clients identify and change problematic thoughts and behaviors, and learn effective coping strategies to reduce stress and suffering.  I use a collaborative and problem-focused approach.  This means that we will target your most pressing concerns first and collaboratively develop a treatment plan that is specifically tailored to your needs.  A few important remarks about my practice: I am bilingual in English and Spanish; services can be tailored to your language of preference.  Lastly, I do not take insurance at this time, however, your insurance plan may have “out-of-network” provider coverage which may cover a percentage of my fee.
